Audio-visual connections between dance and performance

Todos los públicos
Gabriel Villota

The content of this session focuses on the basic concepts of the core idea “live performance/performance recording” or, what is the same: regarding the distance between the live piece (choreography, performance) and the filmed piece.

Throughout the session we deal with the key questions involved based on the analysis and interpretation of well-known dance film and video items. The sessions will consist of a comparative study of the chosen items, thus allowing us to analyse the difficulties involved in the live/recorded debate by means of said items.
