ZINETIKA Festival is featuring a cinematic collection in the Official Section of its eighth edition that encompasses the best films associated with current video dance trends.

Twelve titles from eight different countries will vie for awards in the categories of Best Film and Best Direction at each of the festival's venues, offering an original perspective on understanding cinema. Additionally, these films will be eligible for the Kresala award, presented by the homonymous cineclub in San Sebastián. This award provides new exhibition opportunities through the network of festivals associated with the Kresala cineclub.

The jury responsible for conferring these awards consists of filmmaker Ione Atenea, who will also conduct a masterclass; Rosa García Loire, director and audiovisual producer; and Marta Coronado, dancer, choreographer, and co-director of La Faktoria Choreographic Centre.

Furthermore, the filmmakers behind the selected works will be featured in talks and meetings following the screenings.
