The ZINETIKA Festival’s film program in its 9th edition gathers a selection featuring the best current dance films.

In the Official Section, Zinetika will feature five titles from four different countries competing for awards for Best Film, Best Director, and the EITB Audience Award at each of the festival venues, offering an original perspective on cinema.

The jury awarding Best Film and Best Director prizes consists of visual artist Alicia Otaegui, the director of the Huarte Contemporary Art Center Oskia Ugarte, and the deputy director of the Jorge Oteiza Museum Juan Pablo Huércanos.

The Student Films section will showcase works by students from the “creators” group at La Faktoria CC, along with mentors Julien Grosvalet, choreographer and director of the R14 company; Vincent Descourtieux, film director; and Laida Aldaz, director of Zinetika.
