14 international short films were screened at the 1st edition of Zinetika that took place from November 25 to 26, 2016 in Pamplona.
The program included a workshop with Edith Depaule, lectures and the awards ceremony.
Spaces that simultaneously create a connection and a separation, a continuity and an interruption, the bridge between heaven and earth. Real places that transform into parallel worlds, devoid of a narrative but filled with utopia, spontaneity and freedom.
Scars are links to the events that caused them, “Kintsugi” (golden joinery), is the japanese technique of mending broken ceramics with gold filled resin. This technique has its roots in the belief that the object is more valuable and beautiful with its history revealed. Bodies also tell us their story. Some of them say it loud.
The door is closed. There are a bunch of keys on the floor. Someone sleeps on a wheelchair ... And on the roof a crack starts advancing.
