Acqua Alta is a story. A woman, a man, a house.
The everyday world, absurd and full of contradictions. However, one rainy day, their lives are turned on their heads: the rising waters flood their house with an ocean of colours.
The woman slips and disappears. Only her hair remains and it’s alive. And it tells us the story of a disaster, unique and universal.
It tells of loss and searching, from fear of the unknown and otherness, and how to overcome it.
