Taught
Iris Martín-Peralta (Barcelona 1981) has developed, in 15 years of experience in the audiovisual sector, different projects related to production, distribution and festivals. Since 2008, she directs and organizes the Spanish Film Festival of Italy , which is held annually in about twenty cities such as Rome, Palermo, Naples and Turin, and which this year celebrates its 13th edition.
She is the founder of the distributor EXIT MEDIA. She is the producer of the documentary "Goodbye Ringo" by Pere Marzo (2019), awarded as Best Documentary at the Sitges Festival, and many other short films.
She teaches classes on Distribution and Festivals at the Bande à Part school in Barcelona, and has taught at the Whistling Woods film schools in Bombay and FTII in Pune in India, and at the Ca'Foscari University in Venice.
Journalist by training with a degree in Literature Theory from the UAB, she has collaborated with various media, and has just completed an investigation for the University of Barcelona on the role of UNESCO in the preservation of film heritage.
