This journey is a game of questions for my grandparents, my desire to keep them with me, my personal pirouette to evade absence, my tribute to four important people in my life, my desire to preserve their memory, to bottle it up. I don’t want to close the lids of the jars; I want to open them and look together inside this journey that begins like that of my grandparents, on a salt mountain, and whose end I do not know.

Could a better life be found on Mars? 

Astrophysicist Valentina has lived on Mars for around twenty years. We learn about her and her extraordinary powers in a documentary straight out of the future. She speaks of asteroids, planets, meteorites and other celestial bodies. But above all, she shows us what positive colonisation would look like: in other words, a new world without the mistakes of the past: resource plundering, soil degradation, climate crisis, barbarity.
