Palmarés Zinetika Festival 2021

The winners of the VI edition of ZINETIKA Festival are already known:

The Zinetika 2021 Best Film Award, endowed with 500€, went to the British short film “Before We Collide” (Guy Gooch, Gregor Petrikovic, 1’10”).

The Zinetika 2021 Best Director Award, endowed with 500€, has been awarded to the Egyptian filmmaker Eman Hussein, director of “Belia” (9’51”).

In addition, the jury has decided to award Special Mentions to the American work “Lazarus” (Tuxién Benet, 8’34”) and the Romanian “Call of Pink” (Denisa Anastasiu, Maria-Luiza Dimulescu, Catalin Rugina, 16’28”).

The awarded films are part of the Official Selection of Zinetika and have been screened in the three cities where the festival is held: Pamplona, San Sebastián and Bilbao.

The jury that has evaluated these films is made up of Teresa Morales, Sofía Alforja and Loránd János.

ZINETIKA FESTIVAL: VII. Edition

The poster for the 7th ZINETIKA Festival is now available, with the festival being held from November 18th to December 4th 2022 in Pamplona, San Sebastian and Bilbao with a programme based on short video-dance films performances, workshops and a masterclass.

 

This year’s international event has added two new venues. The Guggenheim Museum will become the new Winnetka venue in Bilbao as part of the TopARTE programme in its 25th year.

In addition, the Euskadi Institute of Architecture becomes the new venue in San Sebastian, while the Trueba Cinemas will continue showing the short films. The vents in Pamplona will take place in the Civivox Condestable cultural centre.

The programme includes a masterclass given by the film-maker Marina Lameiro, the presentation of the film "Luna Negra" and the performance entitled "In Perspective".
